
Kate Hamborg, BA
Originally from North Carolina, Senora Hamborg attended The College of Charleston where she obtained her BA in Spanish. While in school, she studied abroad in Costa Rica where she really “picked up” Spanish.
After graduation she spent 3 years at a ministry school in Redding, California. She spent her summers teaching surfing to kids on the east coast and Central America. Once she completed her ministry program she moved to Nicaragua where she lived for a year, speaking Spanish and teaching surfing.
She has taught elementary and high school Spanish as well as science classes for several years in Orange County. She loves kids and has a passion for teaching and mentoring youth.
Kate currently lives in Huntington Beach with her husband and their two sons.
