Thinker Day | Ages 4-14 | Terra Arts
Thinker Day is currently offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You may select either Tuesday OR Wednesday to attend Thinker Day depending on your preference and our availability. On Thinker Day, TK-5th grade students focus on History with Art, Reading & Literature, Science, Geography, and Fine Arts. Students in 6th-8th grade focus on History with Art, Reading & Literature, Science, and Foundations in Music.
This program explores a different era of history each year through our five-year historical rotation: Thy Ancient Experience, Thy Medieval Experience, Thy Age of Discovery, Thy American Experience, and Thy Modern Experience.
Taking the Next Step in Jr. High
Our Jr. High program for grades 6th-8th builds on the elementary foundation with greater academic depth, discussion, and hands-on exploration. Students develop advanced artistic techniques in History with Art, investigate through expanded experiments in Science, and deepen their writing and literary skills in Reading & Literature. Exclusive to Jr. High, History of Music deconstructs the fundamentals of music and instruments before putting that knowledge into the students’ hands through performance.
