For inspiration, feel free to peruse the Pinterest board linked below or do your own research on French peasantry in the 1700s.

The performance is about 1.5 hours long. Kindergarteners will sit on a carpet on the floor directly before the stage. Miss Andie and Miss Lexi will be with them to lead them when it is time to transition onto the stage.

Kindergarten is NOT part of the Encore performance on May 24th and 25th.

How your student can prepare at home:

Please practice singing Beauty and the Beast: Tale as Old as Time: link

Costume:

The theater has requested our kindergarten students purchase ONE costume for their performance. Girls are asked to wear a yellow Belle-inspired dress. Boys are asked to wear a ballroom scene beast-inspired outfit. (For inspiration, search: “Belle and Beast dance scene”). Terra Arts will not provide these costumes. Please purchase and wear these outfits on the day of the performance. PLEASE EMAIL ME A PICTURE BY WEEK 25 (MAY 16TH/MAY 17TH)

How you can help:

If you’re interested in helping assist with the play (not kinder specific), please click the volunteer schule at the top of this page.
